Cinnamon French Toast

  • 4 pre-made cinnamon buns (but not with cream cheese icing) sliced crosswise into 3 or 4 slices
  • 2 eggs, scrambled
  • Milk - fresh or powdered
  • Oil for the frying pan


Dip cinnamon buns into egg and milk mixture.

Fry over medium heat until lightly browned and cooked through.

Serve hot.

No syrup required- the buns are sweet enough!

This is our favourite breakfast for a weekend backcountry camp. We prepare it on the last morning while everyone else is eating their oatmeal. It garners a lot of attention!
